Linear Wood Ceilings

Architectural Surfaces offers three styles of linear wood ceilings in real wood veneer faced products or solid wood. Standard width modules are 4″ or 6″. However, we can provide custom width planks up to 8″ using real wood veneer faced product. Reveal between planks vary between 1/8″ to 3/4″. Recycled cotton acoustic backer is available for projects requiring sound absorption. No special installation tools are required to install. Installation clips simply attach to the suspension grid with finger pressure. Linwood is available with PVC or felt filler strips for placement in between planks. Perimeter trim options are also available. We have LEED™ Acredited staff available to help you with FSC products.

  • Panels Can Be Installed to New or Existing T-Bar Suspended Ceiling

  • Direct Installation to Vertical or Horizontal Surfaces is Possible w/o The Use of Furring Strips

  • Concealed Clips Provide a Unified Appearance and Allow for Expansion and Contraction of The Solid Wood Panels

  • Factory Finished or Unfinished

  • Additional Profile Patterns Can be Custom Fabricated

  • Optional Factory Finished Can Provide a Class I Flame Spread Rating


Linwood II – Real Wood Veneer

  • Solid Wood Veneer Face w/Balancing Veneer on the Back Side

  • Available With a Class A Fire Rated Particle Board Core

  • Standard Lengths: 8′ and 10′

  • Veneer Faced Products are Typically More Uniform in Color and Dimensionally Stable than Solid Wood

  • Leveling Splines or Dowels are Used For End Alignment

  • Felt or PVC Filler Strip Available to Enhance Reveals Between Panels


Linwood III – Solid Wood

  • Solid Wood Construction

  • Can be Factory Pre-Finished with Class A Fire Retardant Varnish

  • Typically Sold in Random Lengths 3-10″

    • Specified Lengths are Avalable

  • Doweled Ends for Alignment
